every second counts.
March through April 2015 has been the busiest I've ever been in a working environment. nearing burnout. send help.
post summer days.
September days spent snooping and snapping with my two best babs Chris and Becci. From Hackney to Central to Ally Pally, fun making and photo taking was our only plan.
how does your garden grow.
I wish we had a garden we could fill with flowers. If only just a small patch to call my own and pepper with petals and pretty.
rooftop monochrome and mister mordecai
just me and Mister Moedecai Miaow Miaows hanging out above the Hackney rooftops.
been wearing A LOT of black and white this summer time so it's nice to accessorise with orange. he's my colour pop!
have found it hard to wear anything but these white Next sandals they are so comfy and a stylish steal at £30. I also treated myself to this ASOS kimono I love how it drapes and it's oversized look - I feel like a chic wizard when I wear it haha.
fashion 5 minutes.
something quite incredible happened. i got featured in my favourite fashion weekly, GRAZIA. i was spotted by the Style Hunter whilst i was working at The Stylist's Rail, March event at The Hoxton Hotel. i don't particularly like the picture, my hair looks awful but at least my legs are tanned so seems fine.
pinafore - ASOS
blouse - Uniqlo
glasses - Specsavers
boots - Truffle
the lovely Phil Taylor (aka The Style Hunter) who spotted me also posted the picture on his blog - you can check out that and the rest of his snaps here.
sparkle boy.

whilst we we're clearing out for our house move we came across a pack of indoor sparklers. so sparkle fun ensued and i couldn't not take some snaps, excuse the boy's hairy chest.

fridge top.
took this snap of the top of Bambi's fridge. her house is rather eccentric and lots of fun.
blurry Berlin.

most of my pictures from this trip shamefully haven't come out. too low a speed film plus most of my time was spent indoors or in low light.
a delightful weekend spent staying out late in smoke filled bars with my best friends and i wouldn't change a moment of it. it was a trip for lasting fond memories instead of great photo's and i'm totally fine with that.
you used to be much more..."muchier." you've lost your muchness.
out and about in Islington with the boy and my camera. spent ages pondering over the antiques and piles of crockery we actually ended up buying the little blue sugar bowl in the bottom right of the picture. but i wanted it all, could have spent the day rummaging through the wares.
notebook.
photos of my sketchbook. photos of my notebook.
i wanted to capture the crisp winter light through my window and didn't have a better subject matter. plus i'm a sucker for documentation and never without a notebook so they are actually quite personal photos in more ways than one.
hey ladies.
Borough Market, bubbles with Binty and Bambi. just before it got cold.
Dixon and Scottish Emma at the ICA. it was Dixon's birthday.
art bitch.
spent a week temping at Frieze London art fair. a pretty fantastic experience all in all and a great opportunity to get a perspective on the inner workings of an event of such scale and calibre. the long days and early mornings were a little tough but the atmosphere was good and i met some amazing people.
managed to take a few very quick snaps too whilst passing through on my Lomo LC-A which is perfect for quick clicking away with out bothering to even consult the view finder. they're a little grainy in places - i don't think the Kodak Ektar 100 film my camera was already loaded with was the best choice. i didn't manage to photograph everything i liked but i tried to capture a cross section of what was on offer this year - trying to steer clear of the works which have already generated themselves a lot of exposure. there were also a lot of great outfits but i didn't have the guts to take any street style pictures.
