post summer days.
September days spent snooping and snapping with my two best babs Chris and Becci. From Hackney to Central to Ally Pally, fun making and photo taking was our only plan.
how does your garden grow.
I wish we had a garden we could fill with flowers. If only just a small patch to call my own and pepper with petals and pretty.
art bitch.
spent a week temping at Frieze London art fair. a pretty fantastic experience all in all and a great opportunity to get a perspective on the inner workings of an event of such scale and calibre. the long days and early mornings were a little tough but the atmosphere was good and i met some amazing people.
managed to take a few very quick snaps too whilst passing through on my Lomo LC-A which is perfect for quick clicking away with out bothering to even consult the view finder. they're a little grainy in places - i don't think the Kodak Ektar 100 film my camera was already loaded with was the best choice. i didn't manage to photograph everything i liked but i tried to capture a cross section of what was on offer this year - trying to steer clear of the works which have already generated themselves a lot of exposure. there were also a lot of great outfits but i didn't have the guts to take any street style pictures.
mystic.
double exposure fun in the twilight.
very pretty sunset on the island of Gozo, Malta. holiday with the boy July 2013.
some of them came out okay.
i took these pictures. they are mine. i am not particularly pleased with them or proud of them for that matter. they are the best of a 36 exposure film. but nonetheless. steal them and i will cut you.
sunday casual times #2
after a seriously miserable attempt at cake making, so miserable i have no pictures or for that matter words on the affair, the pals and i resigned ourselves to a game of scrabble and lot's of cups of tea. it was all going quite well until the, i need to get rid of all my letters now, panic of the last round set in. as you can see it got a little silly.
personal favourite words were atone and trash.
